In the wake of Covid-19, SanSee was formed with two goals: Boost the confidence of the traveling public, and help tours and attractions reopen faster by offering a science based design and cleaning program
SanSee offers a program based on a Post Covid-19 Society. Our hygiene shield is awarded to tours and attractions which meet our safety criteria. The qualification process is based on a roughly 100 question interview which can be completed over the phone with one of our experts.
Our program was the first global hygiene program designed from the ground up exclusively for tours and attractions. The SanSee Shield is readily recognizable and can be distributed and displayed prominently at your business to give your guests and your team confidence that your organization is making every effort to protect their experience.
The latest on tour and attraction safety from our team and around the web.
Jon has over 30 years in the tourism industry working with large scale OTAs, Attractions, and Tour Operators. In his early years, he studied Epidemiology, Health and Safety at Oregon State University and went on to gain public health field experience in Northern Arizona, an area covering National Parks, Tourist Attractions, and the Navajo Nation. He reviewed sanitation system designs and performed hygiene inspections at hotels, pools, restaurants, and schools. In 1996 he worked with the CDC in researching Hantavirus, the last novel coronavirus to hit the US. In the late 1990's he took a break from public health to earn a law degree from the University of Arizona. In the travel industry, he's been an early employee of Viator, City Sightseeing USA, Tiqets, Take Walks, and more. Jon is based in Bangkok but often found in Portland Oregon with his daughter and her cat named Dennis From Shipping and Receiving.

Joseph studied HR with a specialization in Health and Safety at Fontys University, then started working in the tourism and hospitality industry as his first professional job. Jos has worked as a HR teacher at a hotel school (hospitality management) and as HR Director at a major hotel chain. But
Traveling is in his blood and he moved to Rome and worked for the Vatican tour operator Walks of Italy and EF educational Tours. Joseph now is based in Amsterdam, but your best chance to meet him will be in Italy, sipping his Spritz.
